Turkey Club Sandwiches

You can never go wrong with a Turkey Club Sandwich! It's extra delicious and extra easy to make.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices of bread gf
  • 3 slices of turkey breast
  • 2 strips of regular or turkey bacon
  • 2 thin slices of roma tomato
  • 1/4 medium avocado
  • sprouts
  • dijon mustard
  • tahini
  • oil spray

Equipment

  • 1 chef's knife
  • 1 cutting board
  • 1 skillet/fry pan

Preparation
 

  1. Cook the bacon on a skillet/fry pan on the stove.
  2. Thaw the bread if needed.
  3. Add dijon mustard to one side of one slice of bread. Add mashed avocado to the other.
  4. Wash and slice the tomato.
  5. Add turkey slices, bacon strips, tomato slices, and sprouts to the sandwich.
  6. Drizzle tahini on top of the sprouts, then top off the sandwich with another slice of bread.
  7. Heat a pan on the stove on low-medium heat and spray it with oil. Toast each side of the sandwich on the pan.

Notes

Substitutions, Add-Ons, & Alterations:
  • Use microgreens, romaine lettuce, or other greens in place of sprouts.
  • Try shredded turkey or chicken breast in place of deli slices.
  • Add onion or pickled red onion.
  • Omit tahini (contains sesame) if not desired or allergic to sesame.
