- Prepare the chickpeas as their can/package instructs. Remove their outer skin for a creamier texture if desired.
- Add the chickpeas, tahini, aquafaba, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic chive/garlic powder, paprika, cumin, and za'atar to a food processor. Pulse/grind until smooth.

Substitutions, Add-Ons, & Alterations:
- Replace tahini (contains sesame) with sunflower seed butter, cashew butter (contains tree nuts), or almond butter (contains tree nuts).
- Substitute aquafaba for water.
- Use avocado oil in place of olive oil.
