Salted Cinnamon Sweet Potato Fries

Salty and sweet, these fries can't be beat! These homemade sweet potato fries are made fresh & take just a few extra minutes of prep.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium sweet potato
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Equipment

  • 1 chef's knife
  • 1 cutting board
  • 1 large mixing bowl
  • 1 baking sheet pan
  • measuring spoons

Preparation
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400F.
  2. Peel and chop the sweet potato into "fries".
  3. Add the sweet potato, avocado oil, cinnamon, and salt to a large mixing bowl. Toss everything together.
  4. Spread the sweet potatoes out evenly on a baking pan. Bake them for 20 minutes, flip them, and then bake them for another 10-15 minutes.

Notes

Substitutions, Add-Ons, & Alterations:
  • Try this with butternut squash or regular potatoes.
  • Replace cinnamon with any spice, herb, or seasoning you prefer!
