Lemon Dill Hummus

This Lemon Dill Hummus is a tart and tangy spread to pair with your favorite crackers, veggies, or toast!

Ingredients
  

  • 15 oz chickpeas
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup aquafaba
  • 4 oz fresh dill
  • 4 oz fresh chives
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 lemon juiced & zested
  • 1 tsp cardamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic chive or garlic powder
  • salt as desired

Equipment

  • 1 food processor
  • 1 chef's knife or scissors for herbs
  • 1 microplane
  • 1 sealable container for storing
  • measuring cups
  • measuring spoons

Preparation
 

  1. Prepare the chickpeas as their can/package instructs.
  2. Add all of the ingredients to the food processor. Blend/pulse until smooth.

Notes

Substitutions, Add-Ons, & Alterations:
  • Substitute tahini (contains sesame) for sunflower seed butter or cashew butter (contains tree nuts).
  • Use dried dill or chives if fresh are not available.
