Air-Fried Delicata Squash Rings

These Air-Fried Delicata Squash Rings are a tasty, fun side! Pair them with your favorite protein or fall-themed dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium delicata squash
  • 2-3 tsp avocado oil
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp all-spice
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • salt
  • marinara sauce for dipping

Equipment

  • 1 chef's knife
  • 1 cutting board
  • 1 medium mixing bowl
  • 1 spoon
  • measuring spoons

Preparation
 

  1. Wash and cut the delicata squash into slices.
  2. Carve out the center of each slice (seeds) with a spoon.
  3. Add the delicata squash rings to a medium mixing bowl.
  4. Add the avocado oil, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, all-spice, nutmeg, and salt to a bowl. Toss everything together.
  5. Set the air-fryer to 400F. Add the rings, placing evenly throughout.
  6. Air-fry the squash for 45-50 minutes, flipping halfway.
  7. Pair with marinara sauce for dipping.
